Travel by Air: Air Gabon flies between Libreville, Lambaréné, Port-Gentil, Franceville and a few other towns. These are regular scheduled flights ranging in frequency. ROAD: Two of your options come in the form of minibuses and bush taxis. Neither offer much in terms of luxury. During the rainy season, road transport can be extremely dangerous as most of the roads are unsurfaced. Roads are slippery and drivers are not particularly cautious or observant of the road regulations. There are car rental agencies in Libreville, the capital, but rates are not for the fainthearted. You'll need an International Driver's Licence and a stomach for adventure. Taxis are available in the main cities and can be quite expensive.
