Climate: The climate is tropical or equatorial with high temperatures all year round. The temperatures do not often fall below 18 degrees C - even in the cooler seasons. The level of humidity is high with heavy rainfall in May/June and October to December on the mainland and July to January on Bioko.
What to Wear: Beachwear and light summer clothes are the order of the day and throw in the rain gear for the wet season and chances of afternoon showers. Add a light sweater for the off chance of a cool evening. Although the culture does not dictate this, it may not be advisable for women to wear beachwear other than at the appropriate locations.
