Climate: The climate certainly has its extremes. Winter temperatures plummet to minus 10 degrees C, whilst the summer temperatures can reach up to 37 degrees C. Humid and rainy spring weather gives way to a long hot, dry summer. Autumn is characterised by a sharp drop in temperature, a little frost, some rain and the start of snowfall going into winter. The winters are cold and are accompanied by cold and cool weather. The winter weather is somewhat unpredictable.
What to Wear: Appropriate clothing should be worn by both men and women. It is customary to cover your shoulders and not to wear shorts. Cool, lightweight clothing will be needed in summer, with warmer evening attire. The shoulder seasons require medium weight clothing with heavyweights in winter.
Temperature & Precipitation: Below you'll find the average monthly temperature and precipitation for major cities in Uzbekistan. You will likely experience warmer temperatures because the values displayed are an average of day-time and night-time readings.
