Location: Bolivia is in Central South America, southwest of Brazil
Geographical Features: Bolivia is a landlocked country, hot and humid in the Amazon basin, with high deserts in the mountains of the Andes range in the west. In the southwest are the Altiplano, or high plains, and the Uyuni salt flats. Much of the massive Amazon Basin, with its jungles and cloud forests, covers the northern and eastern parts of the country, and the southeast is covered by the deserts of the Gran Chaco.
