Location: Eritrea is in Eastern Africa, bordering the Red Sea, between Djibouti and Sudan
Geographical Features: The country is segmented by the mountains of the central interior, which is mainly cultivated, with desert to the east and along the coast. The Dahlak Archipelago is composed of many of the several hundred islands in the Red Sea. Hunting or hiding in the vegetation of the country, one may see many of the animals which say "Africa" to the imagination-jackals and gazelles, warthogs and wild cats, crocodiles and hundreds of species of fish and birds.
